A Delightful Visit
Last weekend John and I had a wonderful visit from Aaron and Alexys. They came over Saturday Afternoon and stayed 'till late Sunday Morning. It's funny how your focus changes when kids are in the picture. On a normal Saturday, John usually works a 1-10 shift and I spend the day catching up on reading or blogging. Last Saturday however, that just wouldn't do. After John left for work, the kids and I packed up to go for a small hike along the creek that runs near our house. See the photo story on flickr. When we came back home, I made a pizza with broccoli on it thinking it would be nutritious and fun at the same time. Sounds good right? It's an Amy's Organic Frozen Pizza. Alexys says, "Annie, I don't like it." Aaron is bit more polite, but when I say "What do you think," he shakes his head apologetically. Thankfully, we had another pizza with cheese only on it. It was good enough to eat, but Alexys tells me the next morning, "Thank you Aunt Annie for the pizza last night... Don't make it again. Next time ORDER it." Guess we will have to be more creative with the organic selection :) Thanks, kids, for a wonderful time!!!

Good practice for you Annie. Ahh the woner of kids! Love Mom
Annie, the kids love going to your house. They are always thinking about you during the week. Aaron thought about you when he went to his grandpa's house. He said, "Annie should go to PaPa's house because it is surrounded by all kinds of birds." Alexys says, "Please can I go over to Auntie Annie's house, it's okay, Mom, you can just drop me off there are ask Uncle John to pick me up."
